Me and my boyfriend have been going out for a while but recently he said that he thinks the odds are against us saying things like "the distance, age difference" He lives an hour away and i’m 15 and he’s 17… It sounds stupid, he’s perfect for me and I really can’t mess this up. To add to it, I’m out of school already (just got out on friday) and he gets out wednesday, I’m leaving wednesday to go out of town for a week and a half. Ahhhh I don’t know what to do!

I went clubing with my friends today and i saw my ex. I am so mad at her behavior of how she went to see me with another guy like she was all that. The guy was holding her all night and can’t believe what i saw. I was just talking to her last night. this so pissed me off. After the club i called her then she told me to go home and not see her. I am still mad at the moment. This girl that i treated like a diamond and how i was there when her dad passed away two months ago through thick and thin. I gave her money so she wouldnt have to be in a financially troublesome situation since her dad isn’t going to be a provider for the family anymore. Im just so hurt by what she did. She asked my friends if they we single. i can’t sleep right now because of this crap. ugghh so painful. need this space to vent so i dont feel the hurt anymore. why are these exes like that that punish and hurt me so bad eventhough i was there for them. @#$%^&*was she trying to make me jealous? why?

What boundries can be set if an ex wants to join the same singles large group, not small group, at church?

This is a large church. We have a large singles group and we do things together monthly. We even advertise that we all sit together at one specific service at one specific location. Of course, not all of us do. We also have smaller groups for study and to be supportive, that meet weekly. My friends’ ex wants to join the large group. She feels he just wants her back and this is his way of working his way back into her life. I advised her to claim it would be a conflict of interest to join the small group she belongs to. Since he also has gone to this church in the past, he could join the large group. She needs to make boundaries, and put them in action, that would prevent him from honing in on her space during the monthly get-togethers. Can you give me some idea’s of what boundaries she chould use? Thanks so much!
I did tell her he could join the large group if he chose to. (The small groups are 6 people in individual homes.) I also told her to keep moving if she didn’t want to be around him and he came up. I didn’t think there was much else, except for her leaving, that she could do. Thanks for all of your answers!

It seems to be a trend now & unfortunately true that men generally must break up with their GF’s just prior to 12 months, unless your planning on marriage, because otherwise and especially if your living together, she is automatically entitled to half your assets, home, Super annuation, pensions etc….The laws that were meant to protect are forcing people apart, agree?

Hey girls – question for you – so I met this girl a while back (about a year) – we went out a few times, she seemed totally into me, I really liked her….then she said she couldn’t do this, b/c she wasn’t over her ex yet…but that she really did like me alot, etc….at that time she was about 8 months out of a 4.5 year relationship…..I relaly liked her too, so kept in touch…..6 months later, we went out again….she said a few things the first time we went out that made me think she may not still be ready for this…..anyway, we only ended up going out 2 more times this time before again she was like "I can’t do this…I’m not sure if its my ex, timing, u, etc…but it’s not right"

The frustrating part for me – I really like this girl! The more frustrating part for me – she has told me prior to all this that I’m great- funny, sweet, have a great future ahead of me, etc….and I’m frustrated that after keeping in touch for all that time – I only basically got another 8 hours to spend with her – basically that again, I didn’t get a real chance with her!! And she basically told me in the past and during this last time that I’m perfect….while her ex, I know, is not….

I had an ex way back – but I got over things – is this all her ex? Should I feel dumb? I really think if I got a real chance with her she’d think i was awesome – but i obviously can’t control any of that!!

Lastly….do you think I’ll ever hear from her again? I kind of hold out hope in the back of my head that if she gets over him eventaully I’ll hear from her – will the fact that she did this to me twice prevent her from contacting me bc she’ll think "i did that to him before…i can’t…" or if she wants me, will that not matter, and she’ll contact me?

1st dream was short, she was with another guy… same guy i in real life who was with her at a club. next night, i dreamed that my ex told me she has a boyfriend.

then last night, she was living by herself and i was trying to get back with her. she hesitated for a lil, but we ended up sleeping together and we were physically together for the whole time. we weren’t officially getting back but it looked like we might…

I haven’t spoken to my ex for 2 weeks. this is the same girl i was gonna get married but things happened like her father passing away about 4 months ago… she then pushed me away from her gradually.

im not sure, just stressed out and still care about her. but im giving her some space cause she told me to move on to find someone better. =/
