Have you ever been dumped or dumped someone, and then you stopped talking to them for several months, possibly hooked up with other people, and then eventually start talking again, and get back together with them?

Yes, I started dating my ex again after we hadn’t seen each other for awhile. However, dating him again made me realize why I broke up with him to begin with so the second time didn’t last very long.
Because he was a cool guy and I was lonely. I thought maybe I had made the wrong decision the first time. However, I realized I was trying to hard to have feelings for him when really I didn’t. I learned from my mistake and moved on.
