Me and my ex have been on and off for the past 10months. We break over stupid crap but we really do love eachother and we almost always just instantly get back together because we never stop talking but its summer now and I think hes talking to this new girl and this has happened before but I can almost always get him back. I told him to call me the other night cause hes barely talked to me lately. We talked for like an hour and half and I could tell he still has feelings for me but hes still barely talking to me. I made it really clear I still have feelings and I think hes holding back because of this new girl. But I just want him to at least miss me and wanna talk to me/: what do I do? Im trying to give him his space, its just really hard cause I miss him.

I feel bad for you but at the same time I’m a little confused. You say that you love each other but break up often and no he is into another girl? Speaking on personal experience, I have been in this exact situation. I thought he loved me because I cared deeply for this person and I thought that even though we would break up frequently and even though he liked someone else as well and STILL gave me the time of day, I had to come to the tough realization that he didn’t love me. I’m sure you still love him but from what you wrote he has not said that he cares about you still. He is holding back as you said because he is probably scared to tell you the truth or wants the best of both worlds (you and her). Love is not liking someone else as well. I found love after I ended it with this guy and I’m telling you let this person go. You are worth so much more than being second to another girl in a person’s life. Please know that I have gone through this and it has taken me time to get out of this situation so if you don’t agree with me right now, that’s okay. I’m just giving you a little heads up. Good Luck!
