  • it changes for everyone. For me, it took me 6 months to move on from a relationship that lasted 3 weeks! terrible. For my boyfriend, it took him like 2 weeks to move on from a relationship that lasted for over 2 years, straight after he broke up with his gf, he was talking to me, but she made it easy for him, she was a horrible person and did some very cruel things. on average people spend about a third of the time they were in the relationship for getting over it, but like i said, everyone is different, if you feel ready to start talking to someone else, go for it.

  • wait until you feel comfortable enough to date again. it usually happens when you start to feel lonely, or when u meet the right person

  • There is no time limit to move on and be happy.

  • No your just talking anyways,

you need to talk to people, it will help you feel less lonely and depressed.

  • You should wait atleast half the time you were in a relationship for. If you have kids maybe even longer. Not cool to waste your time dating and especially not cool letting your children see all different men throughout their lives.

  • Nope, you can like whoever you want!

    Think about YOUR feelings.

    Good luck!

  • no it’s not bad you are still living and you’re just talking and life does go on as you said you feel like you have been through the break up thing and life hasn’t stopped

  • wait until you feel your ready and can finally move on. and wait until you are completely over your ex and have no feelings for him, then again sometimes it helps, if you still have feelings for the guy try meeting other guys to get your mind off of him

  • No need to justify yourself to the world sweetheart. Push to finalize your divorce, though. There’s no sin in talking and it sounds like you could use a friendly voice right about now. Good luck and happiness to you.

  • I just went thru a break up myself, kinda, and I have been shocked how many of our friends or co workers didn’t even wait until he moved all his stuff out before the hit on me..this one guy "just wants to be friends" but when I told him I plan to stay unattached and not sleep around he quit speaking to me..lol…some friend…how about waiting for divorce papers at least ? there are too many men ready to take advantage of your vulnerability and broken heart..
