Should I become a vegetarian to save our relationship?

We’ve been together for 3+ years. He was a vegetarian when we first met. He now says that its a deal breaker if I don’t become a vegetarian. It is a moral issue for him. I respect his views but I do not have the same degree of attraction/commitment to this issue. I want the relationship to work but find myself resenting his "mandate." Should I fake it to keep the relationship going?

I will be seeing my ex this week, which we have done a couple of times since our break 2 months ago.We were together nearly 3 years.After our meet I am going to not contact her for 1 month unless she calls me & in that month I am going to work hard on self improvement which I have already began to do and I have a driving test booked &have a deposit on a car.
Do you think if I go at improving my life like crazy that I can draw back my ex to me so we can eventually get back into a relationship because she just wants to be friends?

When we were together we had a lot of pressure around us due to my mothers terminal illness which I handled well but just caused silly little arguements which were magnified.
So do you think I have a chance of her changing her mind if I don’t contact her for a while?Because even though we have been split for 2 months and only seen each other twice I have been in contact with her for every one of the weeks, so I don’t think I have given her a chancetomissme
I am also going for councilling to sort out silly things I have noticed about myself that I don’t like, so when I say self improvement I mean, mentally, physically and in my life style.

Hi, I need advice.
Basically me and my boyfriend were together for 3 years and a half, those three years were magical we never had a single problem. I never lied to him he never lied to me we never argued. Unfortunately some guy called kris came into our life who had a massive crush on me, at first i ignored it because i was in love with andy (my bf) but andy got agressive with me one day and i was scared of him a little and didnt trust him that much, kris was texting me and giving me lots of attention and i began to have a little crush on him, but i didnt tell andy because i was scared and still loved him. andy found out and was upset because i didnt tell him, but he nearly left me but realised i couldnt help it and came back to me, he told me not to text kris anymore to which i said ok, so i did stop texting kris.. but about a month on kris started texting me (by this time i was over kris and only saw him as a friend) i told him to leave me alone but ended up feeling guilty and texting him as a friend again.. andy left me again but realised it wasnt my fault i just felt guilty because kris was using a guilt trip on me.
He said look if you get rid of kris this time we will be together.. so i did i blocked kris on facebook and got completely new number and everything because i wanted him to leave me alone, but about two weeks ago i got a message from kris.. i dont know how the hell he got my number.. but instead of telling andy like i should of done or blocking him on my phone i was just telling him to go away and leave me alone because i want to get on with my life. andy saw the messages in my phone and left me because he thought i had lied to him. I showed him the messages from me saying to kris leave me alone but he said it doesnt matter its the fact u lied to me. So i let him be and we met up the thursday he started crying and saying *i still love you* and was looking deep into my eyes and nearly kissed me. Then he got angry with himself for doing it and saying we wll never be together and to leave him alone to get over me. So i did then he started texting me asking how I am etc… its so confusing.. how do i win him back.. i know he still loves me and misses me.. he tells me xx
andy has left me by the way!! i think i forgot to put that. Also i have blocked kris on my mobile because he was harassing me and threatend to rape me.. i showed andy this xx

well i keep begging him to come back but he just says no.. but then he keeps texting me asking how i am and the other day he nearly kissed me

if you had worked hard for 20 years to get the good job you had, would you give it up to save your marriage? would you sell everything you had to live on for a short while and hope you could find a job in mexico? if you where faced with the fact that you may have to wait more than 3 years to be with your wife again how could you deal with this? im an american and have an approved –I-130-petition -and still must wait this long ,i feel they want to distroy as many marriages as possible, with no worry for what happens to the people involved, if you do it the correct way as everyone says you must, then you risk distroying your marriage, if this was your life what would you do or think about the problem at hand? remember the old saying out of site out of mind? is it fair to force people to grow apart for the sake of politics. my visits to american consulets in mexico proved to me that if you wish to immigrate you are a target of hait,, what would you do if this was your life?
some times i wish that i would go to sleep and never wake again, how is it that we spend a million to help other countrys but will not make the effort to solve small things like this for U.S. citizens.

I gave my ex a hell of a time for the 6 years she was with me.
We have 2 children together, and the whole time we were maried, i did not have a job.
I used to treat her so bad it was ridiculous.
I would go out drinking and using drugs and tell her she was the one that should head out the door.
then about 2 months after she seperated from me, i was involved in a car accident that would forever change my life.
I shattered my skull resulting in a 2 week coma, only to wake up to divorce papers.
I fought my way through the divorce and won 50% custody.
She loved this as she grew up without a father.
I have since quit all substances, held down a job, and worked my way through 1/3 of my bachelors degree.
She is very nice to me and we still exchange christmas presents.
How can i win her back and show her that i am ready to be what i should have been all along.

The only complicated thing is now she is popular and has many hot, tall men that try to date her.
We were divorced over 3 years ago.
Well i had a good talk with her, and she said that she just does not feel that she could ever trust me again.

I am ok with that and will just need to accept it.

So my ex boyfriend and i went out about 3 years ago but i still have feelings for him. Now we’ve have this thing going on since December and we’re flirting a lot by text and on the phone. We have hung out a few times alone (i wanted to see if things weren’t gonna be awkward if we were face to face) and things went fine. Then i told him that I have always liked him even when we weren’t together, and surprisingly he said the same thing. But then i got too ahead of myself and asked him if we could possibly give us another try, but he always avoided the question. I asked him a few times more after that because I wanted to know so he wouldn’t leave me hanging, frustrated and confused. After a week he said he did like me but he wasn’t ready to commit himself. After that I just wanted to move on and find someone else (3 years and i never lost hope that someday we could get back together) but I couldn’t because i still have feelings for him. But i started to question whether he wasn’t ready to commit himself because he’s had a few girlfriends. He seems like he does want to be with me but he won’t say it or do anything. Does he really like me and wants to be in a relationship or is he just trying to be nice and he doesn’t feel that way anymore? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

My ex and i been going out for 3 years. We got on great & were a perfect couple. But I broke up cos i felt unhappy wit myself & afraid to commit. During this ‘out’ time i rediscovered myself but i hurt her badly. After about 4 months i told her how much i had changed & why i discovered i was blocked. I realsied how deeply i love her. I worked out my problems and even went to a councellor. I gently tried to convince her & just asked her to keep the door open as she had made plans to go to Austrailia for 3 months alone. She said she doesn’t want any man in her life at the moment. I have got mixed signals from her over the past few months like she’d come back to my hse and we’d talk for hours but then push me away, i know she’s a little confused. Me and my ex has been together for 9 months and we just recently broke up 2 weeks ago. We spent so much time together that it felt like 3 years with each other. He was like my best friend, a best friend that I’ve lost. The first week was depressing, I didnt eat for 2 days straight and only had an hour of sleep. I talked to him on the phone and even tried to get him back but he said no. He broke up with me because he was having feelings for another girl and he couldnt feel the love for me anymore. We did argue a lot and cried a lot and didnt know how to solve our situation. We’re both seniors in high school and its the beginning of the year of a heartbreak. These past two weeks, I have been calling almost every night, trying to be friends with him, walk home together, and even cry in front of him while he gives me hugs. I dont know what to do now because its really depressing me not to be with him anymore. We shared so much memory together that now, its like we’re strangers and this really breaks my heart. I am still recovering but this saddens me so much to my depression mode. I cannot tell you how much I’ve cried these past two weeks. It really hurts me not to be with him anymore. Please help me get over this guy who I loved.
This was also our first love experience with each other…we were each others first boy/girl friend. It was fun while it lasted and hard at times. I dont know or think we’re ready. But I will never forget my first love and so will he. *sigh…time, please come faster. Please heal me fast, the wait is slowly killing me. Please come faster, time.
