How to win back my ex i hurt?

My ex and i been going out for 3 years. We got on great & were a perfect couple. But I broke up cos i felt unhappy wit myself & afraid to commit. During this ‘out’ time i rediscovered myself but i hurt her badly. After about 4 months i told her how much i had changed & why i discovered i was blocked. I realsied how deeply i love her. I worked out my problems and even went to a councellor. I gently tried to convince her & just asked her to keep the door open as she had made plans to go to Austrailia for 3 months alone. She said she doesn’t want any man in her life at the moment. I have got mixed signals from her over the past few months like she’d come back to my hse and we’d talk for hours but then push me away, i know she’s a little confused. Recently she said her feelings had changed and doesn’t want to hurt me anymore. So i made no contact for month then she rang me the other day as she is leaving next week and wants to keep in contact with me? Shud i keep up the contact and wait?

3 years is a long time… but obviously people who have been dating that long have broke up before. What are some reasons couples would break up if they are really in love for all that time?

How to get over your ex boyfriend?
Click here to get all the information you need to get your ex back
Me and my ex has been together for 9 months and we just recently broke up 2 weeks ago. We spent so much time together that it felt like 3 years with each other. He was like my best friend, a best friend that I’ve lost. The first week was depressing, I didnt eat for 2 days straight and only had an hour of sleep. I talked to him on the phone and even tried to get him back but he said no. He broke up with me because he was having feelings for another girl and he couldnt feel the love for me anymore. We did argue a lot and cried a lot and didnt know how to solve our situation. We’re both seniors in high school and its the beginning of the year of a heartbreak. These past two weeks, I have been calling almost every night, trying to be friends with him, walk home together, and even cry in front of him while he gives me hugs. I dont know what to do now because its really depressing me not to be with him anymore. We shared so much memory together that now, its like we’re strangers and this really breaks my heart. I am still recovering but this saddens me so much to my depression mode. I cannot tell you how much I’ve cried these past two weeks. It really hurts me not to be with him anymore. Please help me get over this guy who I loved.
This was also our first love experience with each other…we were each others first boy/girl friend. It was fun while it lasted and hard at times. I dont know or think we’re ready. But I will never forget my first love and so will he. *sigh…time, please come faster. Please heal me fast, the wait is slowly killing me. Please come faster, time.

Help! ex g/f won’t leave us alone!?

DH exgf from HS (20 yrs ago) has been contacting my DH on and off for years. The last time (3 years ago) things got way out of hand with both of them. I kicked DH ass out. We have reconcilled and things are going good. The ex is now trying to get in contact again. She usually waits a few years between contacts. She found DH bro on facebook and sent him an email. I told my brotherinlaw not to give out any info whatsoever so did my DH. DH knows that if he even says boo to her it’s over and he doesn’t want to lose his family for her. She has her own family and two kids as well. What can I do to keep this woman away from us. We have had all our numbers changed three years ago and we moved to another location but she is persistant. I’m a nervous wreck because all the emotions form the last encounter is coming to the surface, there were threats made by her and her husband, pictures taken of my children and me, letters placed in my mailbox and the list goes on. Short of hiring someone to take care of this situation, what are my options? I thought of contacting woman’s husband, but I think he’ll believe his little darling over me – like he did last time…even though I had letters and emails to discredit her. Thanks for your help.

i was with a guy for 3 years n he broke up with me 3 mnths ago and for the 1st 2 mnths we stayed friends..hed call and text and we’d hang out.. but this past mnth, ive been goin crazy callin his exGF (whos married and has a kid and is going thru a divorce) b/c he lives in her basement, and i know he has feelings for her.. but im not certain she feels the same way right now.. but anyway, his ex got tired of me calling so much, she always said she didnt mind talking to me, just not every day, well him and i got in a big fight on thursday because i went in to her wrk to see her, but she was busy so i left and went to a bar.. my ex calls me after im already drunk and tells me i shouldnt have gone to see her, im thinkin why is he callin and stickin up for her? so one of my guy friends called him and left him a VM which he called back 4 times after and left a vm sayin it was over for good, etc..
I apologized the night I got home from the bar.. I told him that I care too much about him and that’s about the only thing I can say to back myself up for my actions..
the next day he told me I f****d up and that I can thank my fag bf for it…then i saw him at work and he just went off on me and walked away. I know he’s really really mad…. But I havent seen or heard from him in 4 days….. Should I wait for him to contact me or should I write him on myspace or something and tell him that im sorry for my actions and that I havent been a good friend? I really want him back.. What should I do?

What do you do when ex-boyfriend wants to compromise to save relationship?
Click here to get all the information you need to get your ex back
My ex of 1 month wanted to bet back together after 3 years in a relationship. I told him 3 days ago that I was talking to someone else. he was extremely hurt at first, he hung up in my ear and then called me back a couple of times saying mean things to me (things like why wasn’t he good enough etc.) Anyway, he called me this morning telling me how much he still hopes that we stay together and that maybe its good for me to "test the waters" before I commit to this relationship (his words).
I am totally shocked that he was saying things like this (you would be to if you knew him like i did) and kind of freaked out. But i still love him very much.
Now the other guy really seems to adore me, he called me last night to tell me that he was thinking of me all day and that he wants us to hang out today. We have been talking for a week and a half and I really like him (he shares the same values as I do)
Please give me an HONEST opinion/answer on what you think I should do.

A long distance relationship after divorce?
Click here to get all the information you need to get your ex back
What do you think about this: 4 people — exwife, exgf, man, and woman he’s now seeing in a LDR.
Woman has known a man for 20 years (since high school but never dated). Woman has been divorced about 6 years and almost hooked up with a man 3 years ago at a mutual friends wedding but he didn’t go through with it. His divorce was final in April. His wife of 15 years cheated on him. He has been in a very serious relationship for 14 months that hurt him deeply (baggage from the divorce process coinciding with trying to start this new relationship). He ended the relationship over a stressful fight a couple months before his divorce was final.
Woman visited his house in April for a few days and they started dating (long distance) in May. They have spent 3 weekends and one vacation together over the past 6 months. He lives in DC. She lives in Florida. Neither are able or willing to move because of their careers, where they want to live their lives, and most importantly, both have children and visitation with our exes that will keep them separated at least 6 years until the woman’s daughter goes to college.
Man still communicates with his exgf in a very neutral but friendly manner. When he dumped the exgf (8 months ago), it was over problems that he now sees in concrete actions have been resolved, but at the time, he was very clear they were over. He has said more recently to mutual friends that he loved the exgf very much (3 months ago) and will always have a piece of their relationship in his heart and he doesn’t want to forget that (2 weeks ago). He also says they are just friends. Their kids are good friends so he sees the exgf at least weekly in passing and they help each other with shuttling their kids to sporting events, etc.
The exgf was local and they spent almost every evening together and were a very intense, compatible couple. Timing was just awful. Woman in Florida is able to just be fun loving because she’s not around to have to deal with daily life and what the man needs in his life post divorce.
1) Is the woman in Florida a rebound? They’ve known each other 20 years and were attracted enough to each other to almost have an affair, so I think it’s not. Man is just trying to move on though he probably wasn’t over the exgf when he started dating woman.
2) Does this long distance relationship have a chance given neither is willing to move? What’s your guess on when it will fizzle?
3) Would trust issues be a problem since his exwife cheated on him and the woman in Florida tried to entice him into an affair a few years ago? Would a man "catch on" to that?
4) Is there a chance he might go back to the exgf? Man knows she was heartbroken over the breakup and still loves him even though she’s dating others casually. Would exgf not communicating with man anymore instead of being his friend make any difference?
5) What can the woman in Florida do to keep the man in the LDR with her?
Any comments are appreciated.
