We were together for several years and have 2 kids. He proposed to me and everything. We did fight and had a lot of problems. he recently left me for a coworker who is younger. I may be stubborn but I do anything for anyone, I gave him everything and did everything to make him better himself. He says he still loves me and always will, I am his best friend. He has already moved in with her. His family refuses to meet her or allow her at their home. I think he is just "smitten" with her and will eventually come crawling back, but then again I am afraid he is having too much fun because she has no kids and no responsibility. I desperately want to try it again and I really hope we can work it out before Christmas, what can I do? No rude answers please, I know I shouldn’t take him back, but I don’t care.

Now normally I wouldn’t have a real problem getting over an ex but this time around my situation is a bit more complicated.

I’m a first time dad with a 6 month old boy. The relationship with my girlfriend had always been great up until the pregnancy where she had a bout of post partum depression. She basically flipped out one day and had to be admitted to a hospital. The CPS got involved and all that stuff. She got out of the hospital after a week and decided to move back with her parents and our baby lives both here and there. We got back together to make things work for our child.

About two weeks ago we got into a minor argument over nothing and I tried to diffuse the situation by just going back home and letting the issue blow over. She flipped out again and tried to choke me to get me to stay. She threw the ring I gave her out the door and I left. She sent me all kinds of harsh letters that I never responded to. A week later she wants to be friends again but I stand defiant. Since our time away she has made friends with two guys from her neighborhood one of which she kissed!! I got her to admit it after I saw some texts from him. (she let me read them, only to say I wouldnt understand what was wrote) But come on, there is no mistaking that and she fessed up. We got into another argument (which I tried to diffuse) and she ended up disrespecting my mother for no other reason then her guilt of kissing that guy. She claimed to regret kissing him only to try to make amends with me again but after she disrespected my mother I dont know how I can ever truly take her back as my best friend ever, lover, and mother of my child.

How do I get over her especially knowing shes probably still talking to that guy? My main concern is my child due to the fact that those people she hangs around all smoke weed and drink. Nothing against weed but I dont want any kind of smoke around my son. I read one of the text saying they want to all be roommates. This is blowing my mind and I cant help but think about some guy hanging around my son.

How can I work things out with this girl for the benefit of my child??

im still in love with my ex boyfriend. We dated for a year. He said that if we were to talk again he would fall in love with me but he has moved on and now has a girlfriend which is my best friend. i know they are happy together and i dont want to ruin that but its so hard getting over my first love. Now and then, I still love him. But he is still mad at me for what I did along time ago. I never cheated on him before. He thinks I cheated on him by his best friend at an another school in my district. This mean girl back in my 8th grade year thinks I cheated on him and I was moving on with best friend and told everyone about it everyone (at school, on the internet, at church, her best friends, her new boyfriend, etc) That is why he hated me because of that, but I know that’s not really true for what she says to everyone. IM SO SORRY THIS IS LONG! Okay so my ex boyfriend has sent me so many mixed signs that he has moved on and still wants me. I asked about this in another question. Well it’s the end of summer and the c/o 2011 has gone off to college including my ex. well for his birthday back in july, (i rode my bike for three hours, 15.7 miles to his house and paid dollars to get home by cab) i gave him all the things i never gave him when we were still together and a four page front and back letter about how i truly feel about him, how i want him back, i miss him, i still love him with all of my heart and everything. i also said i hope the girl you’re going to ask to be your girlfriend treats you well and makes you happy while you’re in college.( he told me a long time ago before this that he didn’t like me after i confessed to him that i still liked him bc he likes another girl but then a week later he says he doesn’t want a girlfriend until graduate school) but after this letter, he told me it was so sweet and that he wanted to talk to me about some things that needed to be discussed. unfortunately through miscommunication it didn’t happen. i still visited his family and kept in touch. about two weeks later it was his little sister’s birthday and i walked an hour to his house to give his sister a present. i didn’t know the older little sister wasn’t home and that his parent’s weren’t home though his sister said she was there. when i walked to the door, my ex boyfriend opened it and was surprised to see me bc he was expecting his best friend to come over to hang out because two days later my ex would be going to college. now before i continue, lets rewind [ about a week and a half before this, i was touring a college and randomly i got a text from my ex saying, "i had a dream about you " i was shocked because he actually communicated with me! i was sooo happy! he slept over my house for his birthday in 2010 and that's what he dreamed about except in both real life and in the dream, we had sex. i know this sounds so bad but im leaving out a lot of details that makes this sound not as bad ( in real life his sisters and my brother and sister were all together but then we snuck away while everyone was sleeping so anyways, the whole night we texted each other about how we miss being with each other and having sex and touching and stuff but i felt uncomfortable about it bc we aren't a couple. he felt the same but not like me.] going back to the other story of how i unexpectedly showed up at his house, i dropped off the presents and said goodbye to his little little sister (it was the older little sister who wasn’t there) then he said "wait i’m not going to see you for a long time because im leaving soon. do you want to hang out for a while? maybe watch some tv?" i said yes bc im thinking well what do i have to lose? so we watched the beginning of The Office but then started to drift away from it. now remember, his best friend is coming soon. i noticed him smiling and laughing at random times when the show wasn’t trying to be funny and i asked him uhh what’s up? he said "well, you’re wearing shorts… and i can see your legs… uhhh sorry!" i laughed cuz that means he wants to put his hand on my leg cuz that’s just what he always does so i was worried a little later because i shouldn’t be there bc his friend is coming and natually he puts his hand on my leg and says please don’t go! please stay! it’s okay i know i blushed and said okay. we stared into each other’s eyes, then he asked if i was nervous. i said yes, asked him the same and he said yes. we got close and he asked if i would sit on his lap one more time and kiss him one last time. i waited for that moment for eight months now!(to kiss him i mean) i said yes and we were making out.he also wanted to ‘touch’ me but i started my period that day so it was a no.then the doorbell rang O.O my ex helped me up and hugged me but then he kissed me this time. i also touched his you-know-what… so skipping past the hello to his friend and walking out the door saying bye, as i was going he said that i should visit him in college (im in12th) and that he’ll miss me. i said" i’d say the same but i’ve missed you for 8months now." he said, "i have too.. idk if you care but im taking the ceramic box that says i love you and that has my name on it with me when i go to college." we barely talked from then on and he’s in college now. it seems like he just wants my body, but his dad told me it’s bc he doesn’t want to get attached to me and leave me all alone. my ex thinks that i’ll go crazy if i don’t see him for months but i’d be fine bc i trust him. once i graduate i’ll be going to FSU and my ex is at UF. does this mean it’s impossible for anything to happen? even though it may seem

okay so me and my boyfriend broke up in 2010 because i was kinda over him then 2 months later he asked to get back together and i said yes because i missed him.. and he broke up with me and a lot of drama with him and i went on ..then about a year later February 0f 2011 he asked again but i turned him down because i didn’t want to get into drama if we broke up.

Now i really miss him like HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND REAL BOYFRIEND FIRST KISS I HAD WITH HIM ETC… what im asking is what should i say to him i want to send a text and i want it to be like.. lets forget the past and think about the future!! what should i say to him in the text message.
