ok i was with my ex for 4 years and we have been broken up for 3 months now. I know he still cares but the thing is he just started to date this younger girl (shes 18 hes 20) a couple weeks ago. Anyway she just went off to college about 3 hours away from where he lives. We talked the other day and I think hes starting to relize that hey..shes 18 in college and its not going to work…but also he seems really into her but yet still confussed about me…i want to be with him..if anything being apart has made me relize how much i really do love him..how do I get him back…I really do love him and dont want to throw away 4 years. Please help me..thanks

My boyfriend and I were dating for a year and a half. We split up a little over two weeks ago due to many differences and lots of on going unnecessary fights. I don’t feel good about this at all, we were so in love and talked many times about having a family and spending our lives together. I never thought he would want this to end, even with all the fighting, I always thought we would work things out. About a month ago we got an apartment, which has made this break up even harder. I realize there has been a lot of stress on his part, working two jobs and so many things he would like to get done, but as a couple (in love), don’t you work together and not give up regardless? The last fight we had which was, well the day of our break up, he said that he just hit his breaking point and that things would no longer work for us, we’re two different people. I just don’t get it, why after we just take the step of getting our own place is he so sure that we’re not meant to be? After all that we’ve been through together? I know that this man is sensitive, emotional, and caring, but all ive seen these last two weeks is someone who acts so careless towards me, like he never even loved me. Is that just a front? I want him back so bad! He says there is no chance, but isn’t it too soon for him to even tell, I mean in time will he realize that maybe he made a mistake? If he ever truly loved me wouldn’t he want to work something out eventually? I know I was frustrating him with all my meltdowns the first couple weeks, but i’ve decided to take a different approach in hopes to win him back. I’m going to work towards my independence, not harass him, give him his much needed space. Anything else I can do to make him realize that he should give this another shot? Please help, this man is impossible to read! Every response I get is emotionless, and I just don’t see how he can be ready to just forget about me after a year and a half. Just want to add there isn’t another girl involved in case that’s what you’re thinking, I know that for a fact. He just said he can’t live with the stress of things anymore. But I know that if he would give me one more shot, I would do my absolute best to keep him happy and avoid the fights at all cost!!! Another detail I will add is that even though we have an apartment, I am not staying their through the night, I only come and go if he is not there and at work because I have no place to take my things to at the time being. We also work together so it is probably more difficult for him to even have opportunity to miss me and really think about me being completely out of his life. Right now, I finally stopped having my meltdowns in front of him, i’m trying to show him that I can act like an adult and keep it together with confidence so that we can still be friends. I’m trying to be that girl that he was originally attracted to in the first place. Please help me.

about a couple weeks ago i was so happy and i thought nothing would ever change that but here i am. my girlfriend dumped me and said it was because her head was messed up because of her last boyfriend and she needed time to get her head clear shes also my best friend so i said okay we can have a break and she was going to stay round a friends house that night so we didn’t have much time to talk about it she then dumped me by text that night and 2 days later shes going out with this guy its not a proper relationship its a rebound relationship oh and she also said apparently she never loved me she just went out with me to make me happy but she does care about me and she loves me as a m8 i know i should move on but she was the one and although shes hurt me i love her with all my heart and reallyy want her backSOo cansomebodyy please tell me how i can get her back thank you for your help.

Okay, I need help from girls and guys this time. My love in life wants to break up with me, and has said so. He’s mad at me, but he says that the problem is that I’m mad at him. I had been dating this guy for a while – december actually. We were very very close. I always had a way of making him smile and laugh even on his worst days. He told me I was very special to him and made me promise to never leave him. Well one of our mutual friends who was an exgf of his was going to fly home to visit him and decided that because he hadn’t officially made our commitment serious that she could interfere. He got way mad at her for it and did not hang out with her the entire time she was home. But she wasn’t the only one who got burned. A couple weeks later he told me he didn’t want to get serious because he didn’t want to start fights between me and the mutual friend. This friend obviously was no friend of mine to deliberately hurt my feelings like that.
But he still says things like "hey you" and I still manage to make him happy after we hang out. Tells me he thinks about me a lot. Is it ever going to be possible to be more or do you think I’m stuck in the friend zone

Okay so last summer my ex broke up with me. he had gotten back from basic training and that same day he broke up with me. while he was in Missouri. He wrote me non stop and he was so sweet. i went to his graduation and on our way back he was texting his ex..it wasnt really a bad thing..he let me read them but it made me mad. so when i got home he wrote me on myspace and told me he needed to get used to everything. okay so i left him alone. i was hurt..he was my first love. but like 2 weeks ago..i went to the mall and he was there. when i looked at him i started shaking and i just walked away. he looked at me but didnt say anything. then when i got home that same day he wrote me and told me that when he looked at me he realized he’s a complete idiot. this is what he said " realized how stupid I was and I really wanted to go up and talk to you but I figured it wouldn’t be a good idea.

I know i screwed up big, and I just kind of ignored you… But I was soooo mad. I guess it took me a while to realize how stupid I was being. I would just really love to talk to you."

and then i wrote him back and i told him that i was never mad at him i just didnt know why he broke up with me and then this is what he wrote "I was just really frustrated with everything going on I think. I don’t think you really did anything. I just didn’t wanna deal with anything at all cause I had just gotten back and I was still really stressed out. I mean, I’m not trying to say it was the right thing to do, it’s just that I really don’t know why I broke up with you right now. I mean, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was a dumb thing to do, and how I didn’t have really a good reason.
I guess i just thought I would be able to relax more if I wasn’t in a relationship.
Couple weeks later, I realized I was soo wrong but I figured it was way too late." Ohh and this "Yeah, I know I messed up pretty bad. I mean, after I got back, I kept wanting to talk to you but I figured you wouldn’t want to so i just left it alone.
I am sorry though, idk it just seemed like with all the stuff people were trying to start, it would just be really stressful. But I guess I was wrong." and now we text each other. he told me that he missed talking to me and last night i asked him if he regrets breaking up with me and he said that it definetly wasnt the best choice he’s ever made. So what do you think? does he still love me or like me? when he broke up with me i tried to convince myself that i was over him but when he wrote me i realized that im not and it sucks..
