My sister absolutely hates her husband. Everything he does annoys her and she is so hateful to him it is sad to watch. They have not had sex in over 2 years and she says it makes her sick to think about it. They fight constantly and scream and cuss in front of their kids. I think that sometimes you just have to call it quits but as a Christian she doesn’t believe in divorce. She is miserable and so is everyone else who has to be around them. The thing is she is a sweet and loving person to absolutely everyone else in her life. A wonderful mother, friend, daughter, and sister. Please tell me how I can help her, what advice to give. has anyone else been in this situation and been able to save your marriage? If so how?
He has not cheated or anything like that and he is a hard worker at work. At home he does nothing – paying bills, raising kids, any decisions – even yard and car maintenance are her responsibility. I think she feels like she has another child and resents that. He also doesn’t spend anytime with kids unless he’s yelling at the. So many issues I just don’t know how to help.

I was with my husband for almost 10 years I’m 33. Just got married two years ago and we have two kids together 7 & 8 yrs. old. I still love my husband very much. He was arrested for domestic battery which I phoned the police and he never came back after the mandatory 72 hours saying he wanted a divorce. I feel like I have no closure whatsoever and I feel like maybe I shouldn’t have got the police involved bc. now I’ve lost my family. That was three months ago and just a month ago I had to get another order of protection bc of more phys abuse and he was drinking and driving with the kids. I feel really guilty about it though and I just want all this to be over and done with. To add insult to injury he is now seeing an old flame and is staying with her while I am at home trying to keep the family home. I can’t help get upset every time I see him with her or just see him period. Can someone tell me how to get over these feelings? I am so upset and feel like I’d rather have him here and not be alone. It sucks bc I know that is not right and still it doesn’t make me love him any less. No matter how good I think I am doing something will trigger all the memories and I will have a day full of thinking about him. I think Words of encouragement or hearing from past experiences of people who may have been there may help. Thanks!

How do you go trough counseling to "try" to save your marriage (but actually try to explain during the process that you don’t love her and want a divorce) when you know you don’t love her anymore and not in love with her. Reason being physical abuse which went on for a while. Were going through therapy but like i told her i dont want this but she dosnt understand that she wants me to try try try and i dont want to….so how do i go about counseling and let her realize through it that i really want a divorce.

i am newly divorced from my ex husband who I have a son with,he lives with his dad in florida an di moved to pennsylvania. I have feelings for my ex and also miss my son. I have tried evrything to get him back like send flowers,etc. does anyone have any ideas?
i have been gone from the house now for 5months and i am not doing well withbeing away from my son and ex at all. we havebeen together for 8 years
we are good friends and i left on good terms he never kicked me out! visitation with son is great! but just want them back in my life ,, we got a divorce over stupis stuff.

I’ve been reading the questions about how people are having problems in their marriage and want to leave, such as finances, their losing feelings for their spouse, feeling emotionally drained or they’re not having sex as often as they should. Most of the answer come back with "Remember for better or for worse. Go get counseling to save your marriage" But I also notice that when a person is a control freak, cheating, lazy, or abusive verbally (not physically I don’t believe no one should stay in any situation when they are physically abused), they automatically say "get a divorce." My question is, when do you draw the line when it comes to For better or for worse vow? What if one person is pulling all the weight in the marriage or is terribly unhappy no matter how much counseling they had? Should they stay in a relationship where it’s emotionally abusive just to honor their vows? Isn’t everyone entitled to be happy no matter what? I’m interested in what you think.

how do you stay strong with each other if you are insecure and you keep accusing your spouse of cheating even though there not??? and if you get mad becuz you think you found somthing related to cheating that really wasnt and you want a divorce but find out that your information was irrelevant how do you get them to want to stay with you without begging?

(Mark 10:9) Therefore what God yoked together let no man put apart. To make a long story very, very short…my husband out of the blue decided that he wants a divorce. We have been going through some things, nothing major, but some things nonetheless. To say I am heartbroken, confused, and angry would be the understatement of the year. Also, is it possible to try too hard to save your marriage? I don’t want to feel like Im imposing on him. How can I know when I have done all I could do to try and save my marriage? Talking to him, is like talking to a wall! I get no respone from him, just a deaf ear. Also, he is deployed with the Air Force, and has been for 11 months now. He asked me for a divorce in March. I am very much involved in the church, and some of it’s ministries. I’m not just an Easter and Christmas church goer. I read the word everyday, but the answers are just not coming to me. I just want to make sure I am doing the Christian thing.
