Me and my ex has been together for 9 months and we just recently broke up 2 weeks ago. We spent so much time together that it felt like 3 years with each other. He was like my best friend, a best friend that I’ve lost. The first week was depressing, I didnt eat for 2 days straight and only had an hour of sleep. I talked to him on the phone and even tried to get him back but he said no. He broke up with me because he was having feelings for another girl and he couldnt feel the love for me anymore. We did argue a lot and cried a lot and didnt know how to solve our situation. We’re both seniors in high school and its the beginning of the year of a heartbreak. These past two weeks, I have been calling almost every night, trying to be friends with him, walk home together, and even cry in front of him while he gives me hugs. I dont know what to do now because its really depressing me not to be with him anymore. We shared so much memory together that now, its like we’re strangers and this really breaks my heart. I am still recovering but this saddens me so much to my depression mode. I cannot tell you how much I’ve cried these past two weeks. It really hurts me not to be with him anymore. Please help me get over this guy who I loved.
This was also our first love experience with each other…we were each others first boy/girl friend. It was fun while it lasted and hard at times. I dont know or think we’re ready. But I will never forget my first love and so will he. *sigh…time, please come faster. Please heal me fast, the wait is slowly killing me. Please come faster, time.

My exgf and I broke a little over 3 months ago, were both 23 years old and was together for 2 years. Our relationship was great during the time, we never broke up once until the day she actually wanted time off…understandable. at first i didnt want the time off I wanted to work things out…she thought other wise, i wasnt getting through her. during the first month of us having problems, she would flip-it on me, example, i would tell her how i felt, she would say "its not all about you". she claimed that she didnt know what she wanted, she also needed time to figure things out. I respected her decision, but a month and a half later she starting going out with another guy from her work. moreover, i was her first real boyfriend, first everything she said. she was my first love, but i have been in other relationships. i understand that were still kinda young and we do have to experience a few more things in longevity. no communication for 2 months, will she miss me?

i left my exgf (first love) after a big fight. I had it with 3 years of jealousy and i felt i wasn’t happy (she never seem to want to exercise with me or lose weight together, most of the time we just eat out). I didn’t realize that I was going after aI a girl while still in the relationship here studying aboard. I realized I made a mistake after 1 month, because I am about to leave soon at the end of the year. What’s worst is that I’ve slept with the new girl (she was a virgin) thinking it was the best way to move on. But I can’t now.

My exgf and I , I felt we were not meant to be, maybe that’s why I am not happy. But it was not right to just go on and cheat on her. I broke up with the new girl(she was in total shocked because I had her fall in love with me, and i was at the moment in love with her perhaps because I was taking anger out on her because of my recent fight). I am not looking to get back together with my exgf. We have moved on. We both know that we dont work together. But she was my first love and every once and a while….i miss her so much that i want to cry. The chemistry between us was amazing. We broke up a few years ago…this isnt fresh. It just pops up ever so often and makes me sad. How can I make it completely go away so that I can offer my full heart to my new gf (together only a couple months now) and reciprocate entirely the love and affection that she showers me with? She treats me soooo much better than my ex ever did and is genuine…she deserves the world from me….i want her to have it.

im 17. ok so my ex and i went out for over a year. he was my first love. ok so its kinda a long story but he broke up with me cuz of 2 reasons 1. his parents were pressuring him to cuz of his grades 2. he thought it was best for me. he says he hates himself for breaking up with me and he says hes still madly in love with me. we were going to get back together but his parents wont allow him to. it has been over 4 months since we broke up. i just wanna know how long it takes to get over a relationship like this?
and also we were talking the other night about getting together after high school. (were seniors). should i not get my hopes up 4 this. he is my best friend and i love him so much. any advice is great thanks so much

We had so many awesome moments and romantic times and fell for eachother uncontrollably. but after about 5 months she started to back off alot and not want to kiss alot or even touch alot. she eentually broke up with me 7 days after our 6 months. We still hooked up for about 2 months after that until i found out she hooked up with a guy who she had hooked up with previous to us being otgether and made me very jealous becuz she hung out with him alot during our relationship. she beged for forgiveness. I accepted becuz of my true love for her. only to findo ut she hooked up with him two times after that. in this whole span of 3 months post breakup she came back to me 5 times. then tore my heart out every time. now its been over 5 months since the breakup and i think she may be dating that guy. Okay so last summer my ex broke up with me. he had gotten back from basic training and that same day he broke up with me. while he was in Missouri. He wrote me non stop and he was so sweet. i went to his graduation and on our way back he was texting his ex..it wasnt really a bad thing..he let me read them but it made me mad. so when i got home he wrote me on myspace and told me he needed to get used to everything. okay so i left him alone. i was hurt..he was my first love. but like 2 weeks ago..i went to the mall and he was there. when i looked at him i started shaking and i just walked away. he looked at me but didnt say anything. then when i got home that same day he wrote me and told me that when he looked at me he realized he’s a complete idiot. this is what he said " realized how stupid I was and I really wanted to go up and talk to you but I figured it wouldn’t be a good idea.

I know i screwed up big, and I just kind of ignored you… But I was soooo mad. I guess it took me a while to realize how stupid I was being. I would just really love to talk to you."

and then i wrote him back and i told him that i was never mad at him i just didnt know why he broke up with me and then this is what he wrote "I was just really frustrated with everything going on I think. I don’t think you really did anything. I just didn’t wanna deal with anything at all cause I had just gotten back and I was still really stressed out. I mean, I’m not trying to say it was the right thing to do, it’s just that I really don’t know why I broke up with you right now. I mean, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was a dumb thing to do, and how I didn’t have really a good reason.
I guess i just thought I would be able to relax more if I wasn’t in a relationship.
Couple weeks later, I realized I was soo wrong but I figured it was way too late." Ohh and this "Yeah, I know I messed up pretty bad. I mean, after I got back, I kept wanting to talk to you but I figured you wouldn’t want to so i just left it alone.
I am sorry though, idk it just seemed like with all the stuff people were trying to start, it would just be really stressful. But I guess I was wrong." and now we text each other. he told me that he missed talking to me and last night i asked him if he regrets breaking up with me and he said that it definetly wasnt the best choice he’s ever made. So what do you think? does he still love me or like me? when he broke up with me i tried to convince myself that i was over him but when he wrote me i realized that im not and it sucks..
