My ex boyfriend and I broke up in May. We still had contact from then to now. A few weeks ago he DJ’d my cousins sweet 16 party, where he told me he still loves me and loves being with me and how much he misses me, and when we were together how perfect it was. We broke up because we fought too much, which we did because of his friends, who he no longer is close to. I am still in love with him and want to be with him the problem is he has a girlfriend and I just started dating this boy. I love him, but I like my boyfriend now, but I would much rather be with my ex which is why I am breaking up with new boy. My ex loves me but likes his girlfriend also and hes afraid to breakup with her. I am so confused as to what to do next and what to say. Help please?!

I’m not referring to myself, just friends who seem to be going through patience issues in-between break-ups. Like everytime they go through a break-up, less than a week later, they’re with someone new. We broke up a month ago and since then we never had contact because I wanted to get over her, but two days ago she sent me a please call me back message, I called her yesterday, we talked and she mentioned that she missed me but she doesn’t wanna get back with me at the moment, she says she wants us to be just friends and she wants to focus on her studies. Me & my boyfriend of a year broke up last Wednsday. We didnt talk all summer because he was staying at his grandparents and apperently couldnt get internet reception or phone service. Anyways, when school started back he was acting distant, and no matter how hard I tried to talk to him about it, nothing worked, and it was just hurting me. He admitted to losing feelings for me over the summer, but the day before he left, we spent it together and the entire time he was telling me how much he loved me and wanted to be with me forever. But whatever.
So now, we are just ‘friends’. He knows I’m still crazy for him, and hurt by what happened. In a class, we had to write something, about anything. I wrote about how much I missed & loved him still. He saw and didnt really say anything. Yeah, i understand that it might of weirded him out. All my friends say that he isnt mature enough to be in a relationship, but he was before the summer. I dont really know what happened.
What is something that I can do to win him back? I’ve tried dressing my absolute best, I’ve talked about old memories, me and him playfully fought– nothing worked! What are some things that have worked for you guys in the past?

There is this guy I used to date….he and I are just friends now because I he wasn’t ready for a relationship and I was getting tired of him being emotionally unavailable.
Last week he tells me that his friend from college, who is a girl is coming to visit him and that he would want to hang out with me and my friends as well. He asked me which night of the weekend would be good for me. I picked his brain a little bit about this person who is coming…then I asked if it was his ex girlfriend who was coming down…he said no, it was just a friend from college.
well the weekend came and went and he never called me. Then I go online to see that his exgf has left him a message saying that she had a lot of fun this weekend visiting blah blah…
So it was his ex…I just don’t know why he would offer to make plans with me if he knew if was his ex who was coming. WHy would he lie to me that his ex was coming to visit if we are just friends and have only been hanging out latelyas such?
I just don’t know why he would lie to me. Last weekend he did something for me that really saved me and then this past weekend he lies to me…

My exgf and I broke up 1 1/2 years ago. We were together for 1 1/2 yrs. After our break up we would still keep in contact. She went on to date someone else and would call or text me because she needed attention or something. During this break up she continued to get mad at me for my mistakes and then would call to apologize and say she wants me back as her friend, but then would make "romantic" gestures. She finally stopped about a month ago when she started to date a new person. Now she wants to be just friends. I obviously still love her and want her back. She doesn’t want me back, but being her friend is hard…I feel i’m not being honest and a good friend when I harbor feelings for her. I’ve told her how I felt…and I get the feeling she likes the attention. What do I do to just get over it finally?
